The trap

You're stuck in this loop.

If you're an ADHD founder, you know this one. It feels productive, but it leads nowhere.

So what's
a pod?

3 to 5 founders with ADHD. One hour on Zoom, same time every week.

Now somebody's waiting on you.

Ian Tenenbaum, founder of Accountable

Welcome to Accountable.

I'm Ian. I've been a founder with ADHD for 22 years, and for most of that I thought I needed more discipline.

What worked was a fixed time and people who expected me. So I built that for other founders.

-Ian

Finally, a room full of founders
who get it.

You don't have to plan alone anymore.
They understand, and they'll still call you on it.

A global community of founders.

Heard on our calls.

“I'm crushing it this week by my standards, planning to finish strong”

“I didn't want to, but I'm glad I did turn up to it last week.”

“I got SO much done, so thank you!!”

“Sometimes, prior to this, I just felt alone, thinking, why can't I get these things started?”

“When I coordinate with other people, I end up doing the thing.”

“I finished writing my book proposal and it's been reviewed before I submit.”

“It's not perfect every week, but it's a lot better than it was before I joined.”

More than your pod.

Your pod is the core. Around it, the whole community.

Why each step works
Reflect
You share what got done, and what didn't.
Looking back makes you better.
22.8% better performance in a Harvard study, for people who spent 15 minutes reflecting on their work.
Di Stefano, Gino, Pisano & Staats, Harvard Business School, 2014
Plan
You pick this week's one thing, and when you'll do it.
A set time makes it happen.
94 tests agree: deciding when and where you'll do something makes you more likely to do it.
Gollwitzer & Sheeran, meta-analysis of 94 tests, 2006
Commit
You say it out loud. Next week, they ask.
Being asked keeps you going.
3.7x as many deposits for small-business owners who told their weekly group a savings goal and got asked about it each meeting.
Kast, Meier & Pomeranz, Journal of Development Economics, 2018

I've known this needed to happen, and it felt so overwhelming to me. And now it just doesn't.

You're a founder with ADHD, diagnosed or not.
You know what to do. It isn't happening.
You can show up for one call a week.

Not for you if

You want someone to do the work.
You can't make a weekly call.
You need treatment or therapy, not peers.

Before you apply

What happens after I apply?

We read your answers and put pods together on your hours and what you're building. When a pod fits, Ian emails you an invite with its day and time. You can join, or wait for the next pod.

I've tried accountability before. Why would this stick?

Most systems put the structure on you. A pod puts it on a fixed time and people who expect you.

What if I miss a week?

Missed weeks happen. If you miss one, we check in with you that day. Next week you report where you got to, and the loop starts again.

How long is the call?

One hour on Zoom, at the same time every week.

Do I need an ADHD diagnosis?

No. If you have ADHD or think you might, you can apply.

How is this different from a coach or a mastermind?

You meet the same people every week, matched to you. Every call follows the same three steps. Between calls, your commitments stay in the app, and a midweek email checks in.

Same time. Same people. Every week.

Every invite comes from Ian, by email.
